Alberta’s Early Learning mandate is also called FLIGHT, a curriculum framework intended to guide the significant work of early learning and childcare educators with young children (ages 0 – 6 years) and their families in facility-based childcare settings. The framework is founded on the guiding principles of Reggio Emilia.
