The ambassadors of the Blüm curriculum and the nurturing role models of positive behaviours within our classrooms, the Educator team in our Academy plays a crucial role in fostering early learning.
As such, these individuals have been thoroughly vetted and carefully curated, and hold qualifications and certifications far above the legislative requirements. Most importantly, our team members have a genuine passion for early learning. As such, Blüm invests heavily in onboarding, training, and professional development as it relates to our Educators.
As a collective, the primary and substitute Educator, support/operations, and Leadership teams at Blüm are among the most highly trained and well-experienced in the city, bringing a world-class level of expertise and insight to our Academy.

The principles of diversity and inclusion are extremely important at Blüm, and as such, the team has been purposely curated to reflect the vibrant cultural landscape of Calgary. Our professional and experienced Educators have come from all corners of the earth, including Brazil, Hong Kong, Germany, the Philippines, Belarus, Korea, Greece, and Pakistan, to name just a few.
When learning from Educators from various backgrounds and cultures in the classroom, our students gain a more comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. It also teaches students how to use their strengths and points of view to contribute to the diverse future environments they will inevitably be in.
On top of being personally certified by the Government of Alberta to work in a licensed facility, and holding current Police Clearance Checks with Vulnerable Sector Searches, every single member of Blüm is also CPR / First Aid trained. Our team is proud to hold various additional specializations as they relate to early learning and continue to constantly add to their repertoire of skills and certifications, including the following:
